AUDIT-FRIENDLY NUMBERING
The date is the first thing you see.
Customer-facing invoice numbers begin DDMMYY, followed by the subscriber prefix and a continuous serial. An invoice issued on 18 September 2026 can look like 180926-THCO0000021.
The internal job record stays separate, so a quote can become an invoice later without losing its history.
